Bacon and Eggs

My favorite breakfast these days is eggs with a side of turkey bacon. Yummy!

I am also getting pretty good at feeding myself.

One of my favorite things to do these days is help Mommy and Daddy out around the house. Look at me go with my own swiffer!

Easter

On Sunday, April 24, I woke up to find that it was Easter morning and the Easter Bunny had left me a basket! I was so excited to see all the eggs and peeps.

After Mommy and I had our breakfast, we met Abue (Abby) and Grandpa (Papa) at church for Easter Mass.

After church, Mommy and I went to visit Oma and Abuelo. They gave me another Easter basket!!

Oma brought me a baby all the way from Germany. Her name is Heidi.

Later that day, Daddy and Mommy took me to Abue's house for a pool party.

I love the pool!

I love my new tutu swim suit!

Mmmm...Tasha made chocolate cake...

Tio Jon and Tasha bought me a huge basket full of goodies! I got some bows, a dress, some balls, a gardening bag with my own gloves, shovel and rake and my first watch!

I had a great Easter with my family! I can't wait for next year!

17 Months...Can you believe it?

I am now 17 months old (1 year and 5 months for those of you who are not parents) and am changing and learning new things everyday!

My favorite foods are:
-Ha Da (Hot dog) - Thanks Grandpa!
-Fries (I love those Golden Arches)
-Apple (Pears...yes for some reason I get them confused)
-Turkey bacon and eggs
-Yoos (Juice)
-Leche (Milk)

I absolutely refuse to eat chicken and turkey right now. If presented with these options for dinner or lunch I will throw them at you.

Some new words that have been added to my vocabulary are:
-I wov you (I love you)
-Sowwy (I am having to use this more often than I would like)
-Princess
-Ballet

The only things I seem to be able to sit still for are Elmo on Sesame Street and sometimes Glee; I love to sing with them! One of my favorite things to do now is to swim in the pool with Oma or Abue and Grandpa.

My First Haircut

On Saturday, April 23, my Mommy and Daddy took me to KartoonKuts to get my very First Haircut!! (As you can see...I needed one)I was not a big fan of getting my haircut, but I did love the lollipop after the haircut!

I must admit that it does look very cute, and it is so much easier to manage!

First Big Scare

Today I gave my Mommy and Daddy their first big scare!
I was running around our apartment with a little cardboard box and I tripped and hit my face on the box. As soon as they picked me up to console me, they realized that I was bleeding from my mouth. Luckily my Daddy stays calm in these types of situations, once I stopped crying and he figured out I had just cut my lip a little, he calmed my Mommy down.

For those of you that worry...minutes after it happened, I was already back to my old tricks and laughing.

Comfy

I love my Mommy and Daddy's new bedspread! It is so comfy! One of my favorite things to do these days is to take a couple books and lie in their bed while my Mommy or Daddy read to me.

I love borrowing my Mommy's things. Personally I think her hat looks better on me...it brings out my eyes.
