A day in the life of Ana-Sofia

Here is a little glimpse of a typical day for me:

I wake up my Mommy or Daddy in the morning at about 8 or 9am and we go downstairs for breakfast. Some of my favorite breakfast foods are eggs, toast and pancakes. After breakfast, I play for a little and then take my first nap of the day. At around noon, I wake up for lunch. My favorite lunch is either macaroni and cheese or some kind of soup. After lunch, I play with my Mommy or Daddy for a while. During the week, my Daddy will take me to Oma's house where I get to play with her and Abuelo for the afternoon until my Mommy and Daddy get out of work. On the weekends, my Mommy and I usually go out for a walk with Layla or play with my toys. I usually have my afternoon nap around 3 or 4pm. When I wake up, I like to have my afternoon snack and a bath. My favorite snack is cookies and juice, but I also will take some blue. On the weekends, I get to play with my Mommy and Daddy and we usually hit the town! I typically have dinner around 7pm and go to bed shortly after that. Around 10pm I typically wake up for a bottle of warm milk, which helps me sleep through the night. After my bottle, I brush my teeth with Mommy, get changed into my pjs, and get tucked in for bed. I have such a great life!!

These are a few of my favorite things...

I know I typically update everyone about my life through pictures, but I thought it might be fun for those of you who don't see me all the time to know a little about my favorite things these days. As a baby of 16 months (1 year and 4 months), I am a little sponge, soaking up the world around me and repeating everything I hear and see!

Some of my favorite foods right now are:
-Mac and cheese (my Mommy got me hooked on the blue box)
-Blueberries (I call them "Blue")
-French fries (I especially get excited when Daddy comes home with the golden arches, I don't care what anyone says, they have the best fries)
-Bread (Just about any kind will do!)

Some of my favorite things are:
-My purses (Can't leave home without one!)
-Any type of jewelry, but I think I prefer necklaces and the sparklier the better!
-Shoes (My Mommy and my Abue have inspired me with their collections)
-Books (I love looking at all the pictures)
-My pink XBox controller (My Daddy made it just for me!)

As I said before, I am big on repeating, but some of the words I use the most are:
-Happy (There is a facial expression that goes with this one)
-Help
-Hi and Bye (and I know how to use them)
-Mommy and Daddy, Abby, Grampa, Oma, Lala (Zarah), Kiss (Chris)
-Blue (for one of my favorite foods)
-Opa (for sopa)
-Leche
-Bath
-Yeah and No
-Peas (for Please)
-Brush (for brush my teeth)

I have been known to use a bad word here and there, but we won't mention those.

Hitting the Town!

On Sunday, March 27, my Mommy and Daddy and I decided to take a scenic walk to the Grove. First we went shopping at The Gap, my new favorite store! After some very successful shopping, we listened to a very talented musician playing in CocoWalk.

We were all a little hungry, so we went to Chili's for dinner. I am really getting very independent, I can even hold my own (real) cup and drink out of a straw.
