20 Months and Growing So Much!

I am 20 months old and loving life!

Lately I have been a sponge, absorbing everything around me. I am also great at imitating other people, primarily my Mommy and Daddy. I now repeat everything they say!! I love talking on the phone to my family and frequently ask Mommy and Daddy to call people for me (sometimes I can even figure out how to call people myself).

I am becoming a little more independent as time passes. I have gotten a lot better at feeding myself without making a huge mess and I am getting real good at giving myself a bath.

My absolute favorite foods are:
-Sopa (Soup)
-Padetti (Spaghetti) - I frequently ask for it
-Yogurt - I get so excited about yogurt I even have a hand motion for it
-Lechita (Milk)

I refuse to eat meat these days unless it is in soup or spaghetti, or in hot dog form.

Some new words that have been added to my vocabulary are:
-I mit you (I miss you) - I love calling Mommy and Daddy when they are at work to tell them!
-Why not? - I am not really sure what this means, but whenever I say it Mommy and Daddy have a funny look on their face, so I will keep saying it
-Fia Farted - I feel the need to share with my Mommy and Daddy
-Help You (Help Me) - Can't seem to figure out that I am not asking for help when I say Help You.
-I funny - Because I am!

I am getting really good at negotiating with Mommy and Daddy, for instance, I will do something that bothers them and then get them to offer me something I want to stop. I am good! I am also starting to remember people's names and voices. It is so great! Everyone loves it when I remember their names.

My favorite toys are my tea sets, my books and my Ariel (Thanks Mary!). I love making tea and coffee for Mommy and Daddy! I also love reading books before bedtime. I am always going to love my accessories though. I can't wait to wear my glitter princess shoes that Mommy got me!
